On the morning of June 28, Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co., Ltd. and China Academy of Aviation (CAAC) held consultations and reached agreement on the implementation of the civil-military integration strategy and the comprehensive strategic cooperation. The two sides signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
The signing ceremony was attended by Li Guangtai, chairman of Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co., Ltd., Vice President of China Aeronautical Research Institute Sun Xiasheng, Vice President Li Qin of Guangtai, General Manager of Tianjin Quanhua Times Aerospace Technology Development Co., Ltd. Tu Kai and more than 120 cadres and staff of Guangtai, and invited Vice-Chairman of Huancui District Committee of the CPC Weihai Municipality. Secretary, district head of the people's government Xu Ming attended the signing ceremony. Minister Li Yan of Frontier Technology Research Department and Vice General Manager Li Qin of Weihai Guangtai signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.
The two sides held friendly consultations on the promotion of comprehensive strategic cooperation, and agreed to actively carry out technical cooperation in the field of aviation specialty, taking the R&D of aviation products as the demand orientation. In line with the principle of equality, voluntariness, complementarity, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, the Institute will give full play to its role in aviation science and technology. The guiding role of the domain is to create a sustainable development strategic partnership. The cooperation between the two sides is mainly led by UAV R&D in the early stage and will be further in-depth cooperation in the later stage.
At the signing ceremony on the same day, Chairman Li Guangtai delivered a passionate speech, recalling the difficult course of the development of Guangtai Company and expressing that Guangtai Group will continue to strongly support the development of the military sector in the field of UAVs. The Chairman also expressed his full strength in the technical and scientific research of Aviation Research Institute. Recognition is very optimistic about the future of strong alliance between the two sides.
The next day after the contract was signed, Guangtai organized a project evaluation meeting for a UAV developed jointly with CAAC, and successfully passed the client's evaluation, marking the formal landing of the strategic cooperation between the two sides.
